Victim Or Victor
Veer not to that place where pity plays up like a small violin Invest in courage and faith and don't wear the pain on your sleeve Charity begins at the end of the road when all the rocks are thrown Trust in the Almighty give life a second chance stretch out your hand Invite good to come to you like a deer at the edge of the brook Mindfully tread this earth and heal from the past, then move on; ********* Victor is more than just a mere word, it's a sword polished til' it shines Icons are impressed by hands of sacrifice, don't be afraid to suffer Carry yourself with shoulders well squared and look people in the eye Tomorrow will be as successful as you make it, re-write your own story Open up to the pages of your life and read the fine print slowly Return love for love and thank those who helped you become who you are.
