TOXIC PEOPLE
Some people are not just happy
With the fact that you are happy
They tell you to relinquish you dream
That it's not as good as it seem
They never want you to go higher
They always want to water your fire
They see fault in everything you do
They go behind to steal your boo
See, life is too short
To live someone else's dream
Only you know what your dream is worth
Remember the sky is not your rim
They are gonna mess up your mind
Pretend to be so good and kind
But soon you will discover
That its nothing but a cover
Flush them out of your life
Before they drain all your energy
And cut you through like a knife
Cos life is a very short journey
You don't get to choose family
But you sure do choose your friends
your choice determines your destiny
only you will see where it ends
Stop hanging out with losers
People who gossip about your secrets
Doesn't mean you should join the club of loners
But toxic people are cheap like biscuits
Move with people who add to you
Spiritually, morally, emotionally and regularly
Now am sure you know what to do
And make sure you check your friends list occasionally.
