{I NEED A FRIEND}
I need a friend
who would stay by me
In good times and bad
right till the end.

I need a friend
who wouldn't hurl at me
stones of hate and spite
though rules I bend

I need a friend
who believes in me
who sees me for who I am
Oh!! may the day send.

My heart tends
to the heartbeat
of a true friend.
soulful melodies I myself cannot resist.
